There are thousands of club flyer designs in circulation, and just like tattoos, the probability of whatever design you have in mind has been done by someone else, or at least a part of it. So designing a creatively unique piece of design for flyers or any other print media can be challenging. But there are some things that we can do about that.

Not a lot of artists created their masterpieces with their own style. A lot of them borrowed from their masters or from older artists who may have influenced them, and they just refined it and gave it their own interpretation or personal touch. We can still do this today by drawing inspiration and influence from other prominent designers or even an art movement.

In creating a unique design for your flyer, you can always refer to old and classic designs.You can always use other print designs as an influence. Draw inspiration from posters, animated works, and even architecture and product design for your flyer’s design.

To help you create a concept for your club flyer, here are some points that you can focus on in creating your flyer:

Use Different Design Elements
Designers and graphic artists usually incorporate different elements of design into their flyers. Deriving their ideas from what they’re trying to promote, and using them as an element in their flyers. For example, in our case, club flyers are usually designed based on what we usually see on a party or a club event – DJs, neon lights, turntables and so on.

Utilize Actual Images
Some artists use actual images of alcoholic beverages and even the establishment’s interior and architecture to promote an event or location. Being able to see actual images allows people to draw their expectations based on what they see. Using these images not only promotes the event, but the establishment itself, as well.

Develop A Style
Aside from using actual images, you may as well develop your own style in designing your own flyers. Try studying the past works of well known designers and the art movements that they’ve spawned. Like Andy Warhol and his Pop Art, Alphonse Mucha and Art Noveau and even Graffiti. Most of the artists involved in these art movements try to develop their own style. Developing a style of your own not only helps you personally, it also allows your designs to be unique and more eye-catching than the rest.
